being home has been pretty nice. not going to iraq until winter of '09 but with the way the corps is things can change overnight, but whatevs. i've been doing lots of freelance work. i have a bunch of design and development projects all going on at once. i've been trying to get back into the loop of the whole web development world again and it's going pretty well. i have a few projects that are up online right now.

i leave tomorrow in the morning. Marine combat training in pendleton for 3 weeks and small arms repair training in maryland for 9 weeks. i'll be able to bring my sidekick so i can at least call, text, email, IM and all that good crap on my free time. i'll be super busy this next month so i dont know how much anyone will hear from me because i'll be out in the desert training. but i've got some pictures from a week ago at my graduation. i wont be getting any sleep for a long time so i mind as well get as much as i can now. stay safe everyone

well 3 months later after long days of hard work, blood, sweat, and tears i earned the title of United States Marine. i'm on 10 days of leave until may 1st. i'll be in camp pendleton for 3 weeks of more combat training and 9 weeks in maryland for small arms repair technician school. then i'll be home until i'm deployed to iraq.

a lot has happened since my last post. so i'll explain my life right now in a nut shell. well i moved to wisconsin and became a dancer. i'm following my dreams, i've always wanted to be a dancer and i'm dancing with the top dancers in the world who like to dance just to dance cause dancing is awesome. so a week into it i quit cause i hate dancing now, ew. im at hollister right now buying a pooka shell necklace waiting in line, so i'm doing this through my sidekick 3. i grew my hair down to my ass and started smoking grass. all i do is party 24/7 so basically my life is pretty much a party right now. i bought a kitten and started breeding fur on my back. bye

Vince Prescott was found bludgeoned to death on Tuesday morning at 7:30am. His body was discovered in the elevator when it arrived on the third floor of Prescott Industries. There was one elevator for the five story building and only a few people were in the building at the time of the murder. Detective Rushforth arrived on the scene and was assisted by nighttime security guard, Alex Tomczyk.

"Due to a rash of computer theft recently, building management started a new security policy," offered the security guard. "Anyone who enters the building after 6:00pm and before 9:00am has to sign in with me at the front door. Here's the sign-in book itself. It'll show you who was here this morning."

Detective Rushforth noted that only three employees had arrived just prior to the time of the murder.

"I don't see Mr. Prescott's name in the log," noted Detective Rushforth.

"He's the boss. I wouldn't dare make him sign in," laughed Alex. "But I do remember he got here just before 7:30. He seemed to be in a hurry. He immediately went around the corner to go to the elevator bank and that was the last time I saw him alive."

Mr. Prescott's son-in-law, Frank Misko was the one who discovered the body. According to the log he entered the building at 7:00am and went to his office on the third floor. However, at 7:30am he left his office to take the elevator down for coffee He pressed the button for the elevator and when the doors opened, Mr. Prescott was lying in a pool of his own blood."

"It was dreadful," cried Frank. "There he was lying face down. His gray suit was practically soaked with all the blood."

"Do you always get to the office at such an early hour, Mr. Misko?" the detective asked.

"Not usually," he answered. "But Vince asked me to get here early. He claimed to have figured out who was responsible for all the theft."

The second employee to sign in was Maurice Newman, a new hotshot salesman who had been with the company a few months. He signed in at 7:28am, but never claimed to see Vince waiting for an elevator.

"I never take the elevator," he bragged. "Ask Alex, the security guard. He sees me every morning. I have to keep in shape. That's the nature of the business. Look good, dress sharp. You know what I mean? There's a set of stairs at the end of the elevator banks that I run up to the third floor."

"When you got up to the third floor did you see Frank Misko waiting for an elevator?"

"Sure did." He answered quickly. "He asked me if I wanted to go with him, but I already had with me my super sized mocha Cocoa Blast. That was all the coffee I needed."

The third employee to sign in was Theresa Roland, Mr. Prescott's executive assistant. She signed in just after Maurice at 7:29am.

"I could have saved Mr. Prescott's life," cried Theresa. "When I entered the lobby, I thought I saw Mr. Prescott turning the corner to go to the elevators. Alex confirmed that it was him, but he wouldn't let me go after him until I signed that stupid book. By the time I got to the elevators, Mr. Prescott was already gone."

"Did you hear or see anything else out of the ordinary?" the detective asked.

"Nothing else out of the ordinary," she answered. "I heard Maurice walking up the stairs."

"Are you sure it was Maurice?" questioned Detective Rushforth.

"Oh, sure," answered Theresa. "That bundle of energy. I'd know his walk anywhere."

"I wonder," Detective Rushforth answered to himself.
